About

Published by under

SCRABBLE® is a classic game being played in numerous primary and secondary schools across the country. This educational pastime has its roots in classrooms in the United States, where thousands of students play the game, many of whom continue on to organized tournaments and even the annual US National School SCRABBLE® Championship. Now students, parents and teachers have come together to organize School SCRABBLE® programs in Canada.

Through the game of SCRABBLE®, students are able to increase their vocabulary, strengthen word knowledge and apply mathematical and analytical skills. It is a game that fosters friendships, cooperation, healthy competition and teamwork. Best of all, it is an activity enjoyed by people of all ages, skill sets and backgrounds.

If you have any infrequently asked questions, comments, or you just want to say “konnichiwa”, you can reach us at info@schoolscrabble.ca.
