Format
The events will have a similar format to tournaments from previous years with the emphasis on friendly rivalry. There will be a variety of prizes for being a good sport, theme words, and participation. The top ten pairs (approximately) from each regional qualifier will advance to the City Championship on March 27th.
East and West Qualifiers and Juniors

25 minutes total for each team
Divisions are arranged by grades: 5-6, 7-8
Grade fours will play with other grade fours in the Junior tournaments.
Division structure is subject to change based on number of players.
The top 10 pairs from each region in grades 5-8 advance to the City Championship on March 23rd.

To register, please download the registration form HERE. Right-click on the link and choose Save As. The form explains how to submit your registration and entry fees (only $5 per student). Note: You can fill in the form electronically in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader via Edit PDF –> Fill & Sign.
In order to continue to grow the local competitive SCRABBLE® scene, members of the media are invited to visit the events. Therefore, all players must also present a completed Student Media Release Consent form. Copies of existing TDSB forms may be used or you may download a form HERE. This form can be submitted to us at info@schoolscrabble.ca or presented on the day of the tournament.
